Dr. Phil Anderson is a nationally recognized ENT surgeon with over 25 years of experience treating complex hearing loss across both private practice and military medicine. A former Chief of ENT Surgery for the U.S. Army in Korea and a retired Major, he has cared for thousands of service members with combat-related hearing damage.
In civilian practice, Dr. Anderson spent decades witnessing the same pattern—patients struggling to access and afford high-quality hearing care. Frustrated by the limitations of traditional devices, he set out to create something better, drawing on his surgical expertise and academic experience to design a more effective, accessible solution.

How do OIDO hearing aids work?
OIDO hearing aids use advanced speech processing to enhance voices while reducing background noise. They’re designed to be custom-fitted in minutes using the OIDO App, so you get clear, natural sound without the need for appointments.
Do I need to see an audiologist?
No! Oido hearing aids are over-the-counter (OTC) and designed for mild to moderate hearing loss. You can take a hearing test and configure them right from your smartphone. If you have severe or sudden hearing loss, we recommend consulting a doctor.
How long does the battery last?
A single charge provides up to 24 hours of use, and the portable charging case extends battery life up to 96 hours, so you’re always ready to go.
Can I stream music and calls?
Yes! With Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, you can stream calls, music, and other audio directly from your smartphone.
