Hearing Needed a Change

And we saw an opportunity to make a difference

A Problem Too Big to Ignore

Hearing loss affects over a billion people worldwide, yet the majority go without treatment. Traditional hearing aids are expensive, difficult to access, and often come with a stigma that makes people hesitant to seek help. We saw this problem firsthand when a close friend struggled with hearing loss but found the available solutions frustratingly out of reach. That moment sparked a mission—to rethink hearing care from the ground up.

By Fate, the Rules Shifted

A Game-Changing Opportunity

In 2022, a major regulatory shift changed everything. The FDA approved the sale of over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids, making it possible for people to access hearing solutions without the need for expensive audiologist visits. We knew this was our moment to create something truly revolutionary—technology that would put high-quality, affordable hearing aids in the hands of millions.
